Ottawa's Paramedics raise over $5,000 to help Haitians

The Ottawa Paramedic Hearts for Haitians Day at Carlingwood Shopping Centre was held Saturday, February 13, 2010. Over thirty Paramedics donated their time to collect money for the Canadian Red Cross.

The generousity of Carlingwood patrons showed itself all day with many families and individuals donating $5,289 to the cause.

Our thanks to all who helped and to the Ottawa Paramedics and Algonquin College Paramedic Students who collected the money on your behalf!

All proceeds benefit the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation.
To date Love of Reading has committed $7.5 million to 70 high-needs
elementary schools across Canada for new books and education resources.
